The Project Overview

The goal was to provide an elegant, transparent access solution for a high-traffic lobby refurbishment. The lift needed to be retrofitted into the existing staircase layout while adhering to a strict, custom color palette.

Our Solution: The Flex-e DDA Lift

We utilized the Flex-e DDA, a versatile vertical platform lift known for its “ultra-low pit” and minimal footprint—making it the ideal choice for retrofitting into established concrete structures.

  • Custom Dulux® Finish: To ensure a perfect match with the building’s bronze accents, this unit was finished in a custom Dulux powdercoat.
  • Panoramic Glass Shaft: The 360° glass enclosure maintains the lobby’s open-plan feel and maximizes natural light.
  • DDA Compliance: Fully compliant with NCC E3.6 and AS 1735.12, featuring tactile braille buttons and smooth screw-driven operation.
